Odin at 3 months of age
Odin, was born 30 Km. outside of the city of Vaxjo in Sweden.
When he was 8 weeks of age he travelled for 24 hours to live with us and with our other Kuvasz;
Floyd, Alpha, Blue, Camila and Gelito, in Buenos Aires - Argentina.
We have bred Kuvasz for 9 years, and it was very important for us to aquire Odin and bring him to us.

Odin at 8 weeks and 3 months of age
Odin is a dog with a very, very strong temperament, although The Kuvasz should be intrepid, of valiant spirit,
and for most of all confident. These are traits needed for their work as livestock guardians and are very
important to what makes them unique.
Odin is an Alpha dog.
Since he were very small, we had to make a deep socialization work with him, for their marked
independent character and genetic tendency to show the control position.
Today Odin is 19 months of age, and he is relating perfectly with other animals,
especially with our cat Seneca, our parrots and the rest of our dogs, and with any person that,
of course, respect the established hierarchy order for him:
First: Nacho orders
Second: Odin orders
Third: The rest of the world should obey

It is very important for Odin to familiarize with any animal or person that it is presented,
this particularity is very common in the Kuvasz dogs, and it is a necessary feature of character.
In general, these dogs, in some stranger's presence, knows if they constitutes a real threat,
or if it is a waste of his time.
The Kuvasz is a dog with a high ability to perceive the danger and to evaluate the situations.
Odin and Blue's puppies
Odin truly enjoys very much of the caresses and the love that he receives at home, and especially of the constant
games with the bitches (those that will be his girlfriends in a short time).
Odin is a very beautiful Kuvasz, his pigmentation is excellent, of a black one intense and brilliant.
His coat is dense and beautifully wavy. The musculature of his body is perfect, and he weighs 50 Kilograms approximately.
Odin likes to eat the whole time, (all that he possible manage), but it is very difficult to increase his weight because
that he exercises a lot every day.
Odin is an excellent guardian dog that have a fear to very few things.
We are very anxious, of being able to soon have his first puppies.
Here in Argentina, for more than 15 years, some people are breeding this millennial breed of shepherds dogs,
and Odin is a valuable contribution to the improvement of the existent lines of blood here.
Because Odin had the opportunity to cohabit with the puppies of Blue, we know that he is very patient and
tolerant with the smallest. In general he is instinctively protective of all creature that lives with him.
Today in Argentina, with the growing level of insecurity where we are living, mainly in the big cities like Buenos Aires,
these dogs will be becoming very popular, more frequently for those families that has small children,
because this it is a dog that has a long history as a protector and custodian of the family.

Living with an animal such as this, is like stepping back in time and walking in the ancient noble history
which the breed has survived for thousands of years.
Because of these wonderful traits, the Kuvasz has always had and always will have a place along side man,
he serves us with companionship as the natural protector that walks in harmony with his surroundings.
