(16 in) and up. Weight: Males: 27 kg. (60 lbs) and up, females: 22,5 kg. (50 lbs) and up. Colour: Brindle of red, grey or black. Brindle spots on white. Solid white. Fawn, red or black, solid or with white. Present situation: Increasing popularity. Additional info: Mr. Leavitt started in 1971 a breeding program, crossing English Bulldogs, American Pit Bull Terriers, American Bulldogs & Bullmastiffs (50 % English Bulldog (3/6), -the others in equal parts (1/6). The goal was to recreate the Bulldog of the 1800's. The name Olde English Bulldogge was not used before Leavitt "invented" it to describe his dogs. |
