The Entlebucher is the smallest of the Swiss Mountain Dogs, only just medium sized, compactly made dog of slightly elongated shape. Alert, clever and friendly facial expression.
Entlebuchers enjoy being around people, and other dogs. Easygoing and loyal, Entlebuchers are known to become very attached to their owners.
Not recommended for first time dog owners. The Entlebucher exhibits extaordinary intelligence with quick learning when guidelines are established upon introduction.
The short double coat of the Entlebucher is tricolour, like all the other Swiss Cattle and Mountain Dogs.

The height at the witers of the Entlebucher males are 44-50 cm. (17,2-16,6 in). Up to 52 cm (20,4 in) is tolerated.
The females are 42-48 cm. (16,5-18,8 in) at the withers. Up to 50 cm. (16,6 in) is tolerated.
