The height of this brindle coloured dog is about 73 cm. (28,8 inches) for the males, while the females are 65-67 cm. (25,5 - 26,5 inches).
The weight are for males about 59 kg. (130 lbs), the females weights 41-44 kg. (90-97 lbs).
The Cypro Kukur/Kumaon Mastiff is extremely rare and it is very difficult to locate any pure specimens still living in the Kumaon district. Some good dogs of this breed have been imported to Europe, which now most likely has a higher number of Kumaon Mastiffs than left in India.
This is a breed that because of their power combined with agressiveness is suited for experienced owners only.
