The Buldogue Campeiro is a descendant of the English Bulldog, but it have remained a working dog, and must be able to still
do its work controlling bulls by biting and holding its snout.
The Campeiro Bulldog is a Bulldog that is robust and powerful built, but still very agile and swift. It has a large and
wide head with a powerful jaw, and a wide chest.
The tail of the campeiro is normally short, but also specimens with a long tail is born.
The caot is short and all colours are allowed. However, the predominant colours is golden, tigrado, solid coloured or white.
The Campeiro males is about 38-45 kg. (83,6-99 lb) of weight and 50-55 cm. (19,6-21,6 in) of height.
The breed is extremely decile dog with children, friendly with people it knows, and suspicious to strangers, and it has
a instinct for protection.
The Buldogue Campeiro have been nationally recognized
by the CBKC (Confederação Brasileira de Cinofilia). The next step would be International recognizion by FCI.
