1st September 2003: I am sorry to tell you that Molosserworld no longer accepts new pictures for the Picture Gallery. The reason for this is that Molosserworld already has to much data transfer each month. I was contacted by the web-provider, who told me that the data tranfer for Molosserworld each month is between 17-20 Gigabytes, which is much more than allowed. This means that the web provider only has expences on Molosserworld and no income. The alternatives was either to pay the actual costs, which would be a considerable amount of money, to close the site for the rest of the month after the allowed data transfer was exceeded, or to reduce the size of the site. Since the large picture galleries and the enlargable pictures at the breed-pages is the main reason for the high data transfer we came to the agreement that I would reduce the number of pictures at the site and remove the large clickable pictures.
The following changes will be done in the near future:
-No more pictures will be accepted at the Picture Gallery.
-The large scale pictures will be removed.
-The "Pictures page" at the new layout pages will be removed.
The "Molosser of the Month" pages will for now not be affected by the changes, and new Molossers of the Month will be uploaded each month. Time will show if these pages also need to be changed or closed.
This is an unfortunate situation but since Molosserworld is a no-profit web site, without any sponsors or adverts, this is the only solution at the moment. If the situation changes, i.e. any sponsor or change of web provider without any data transfer limit, the website will again allow new pictures for the galleries and also upload large clickable pictures for you to view.
I hope you all understand the situation and that it will not affect your visit at Molosserworld.
