This is Duke, owned by Teresa La Brie and Edwin La Brie of Rensselaer, NY.
Duke is considered a fawn-merle (also called apricot merles). His color results from crossing fawns and harlequins. It is not an "approved" color and therefore he can not be shown in AKC conformation classes, nor should he be bred. Duke, however, is a wonderful companion and friend.
Pictures and information by Teresa.

Dixie

Pasha

Yoda

Trouble

A collection of pure bred American Pit Bull Terriers sent in by Dana J. Turner, Copperhead Kennels APBT. These dogs are all 100% pure registred APBT, and not mixed with Catahoula Leopard Dogs or Rottweilers, like many believe.

All the merle Pit pics are courtesy of Copperhead Kennels (Dixie, Pasha & Kodiak), the blue Pit pic is courtesy of TNT Kennels (Trouble), the bluetick Pit pic is courtesy of Screamers APBT (Yoda), the tricolor blue Pit pic is courtesy of Pitstyle Kennels (Shadow) & the black tricolor Pit pic is courtesy of Wildside Kennels (Boots).

Shadow

The Mastiff Lionhearted Kodiak, born in 1995.

This Great Dane is a "Fawniquin". It is a white background Dane with Fawn (or yellow) patches. This colour usually comes from a throw-back of a fawn/harlequin mix.
The name of the dog is Gus and in the first picture he is about 8 weeks old.
Gus was rescued as a pup by the Great Dane Rescue NE Fla.

This is my English Mastiff, named Mama Cass (named after Mama Cass of the "Mamas and the Papas" due to her double chin). Born and bred in Phoenix, AZ, she is a pure bred mastiff with very unusual facial features. We opted for her because of her different look. She is one of the best dogs I have owned to this day! This picture was taken when she was four months old.
Jay Headley

Floyd, a swedish bred and owned long-haired Mastiff.

Thorarp's Goliat, a Swedish bred Mastiff, born in June 1997, and owned by myself.
Goliat is a black-brindle Mastiff, from a father to daughter mating. At the fathers side it have been heavily inbreeding on Bredwardine lines. The father of "Goliat" was apricot-brindle, while his mother was a normal fawn. Out of ten puppies in the litter three were black-brindle, four brindle, two fawn and one apricot.

A litter sister of the above "Goliat".

A longhaired Mastiff named Samson. Owner: Alexis A. Zolner.
Samson got his own page, you can visit it HERE

An Norwegian bred English Mastiff, Star Mastino's Lord Argon, with a odd patch on his left side. As the dog grow the patch became clearer and clearer, and at last it was totally black.

A English bred & owned Mastiff with a "disturbing" white sock.
